Coin Laundry - Creating a buzz in Armadale SEP 20

Whether you're a Armadale local or live somewhere on the east side of the city, a trip to this brand new cafe in the quiant little back streets just behind Armadale train station will certainly cure the hunger of any foodie.  Converted from an old Coin Laundry, as the name suggests, the cafe boasts bright open spaces, an idyllic corner location, outdoor seating and a friendly relaxing atmosphere.  The menu is short but sweet, with a key focus placed on breakfast with a variety of 10 or so dishes and the Lunch menu with a selection of a few classic's like the Open Steak Sandwhich which is close to the best we've had in Melbourne or Pork Belly with crackling.  The coffee is superb, and the service is at the pace which lets you relax and read the paper, whislt not letting you go hungry.  It's the sort of place that just makes you feel like taking an hour or so (that sunday brunch sort of feel), so we recommend you visit when you're not short on time.  Overall it's very hard to fault the Coin Laundry and with people teeming almost all day we think this hidden gen has a lot of life ahead of it

Is authentic fast food possible?SEP 09

It seems now that High Tech Burrito has snuck onto the studios  regular lunch rotation list,  and heres why.  We don't know of many places that are a fastfood chain who can provide authentic quality cuisine from their origns.  High Tech Buritto however is running against this trend and it is a plesant surprise.  Located on glenferrie road in Hawthorn, this take on an American burrito fastfood store has a lot to offer and it starts with the quality.  The ingreadients are always fresh and there is a great menu to choose from.  The staff are super friendly and the venue is comfortable.  But most of important is the value - for a little over $10 you'll pick yourself up a Burritto not small in size.  Next time you're in the area we recommend you try it for yourself
